Reporting a measurement or device issue
The following details help explain a calibration problem:
- Your device model and whether you use its built-in display or an external monitor.
- Your browser and operating system.
- The screen diagonal, browser zoom and calibration method, if known.
- The expected measurement and the value shown by the ruler.
- The steps that reproduce the issue.
Do not include payment card numbers, passwords or private documents. Credit card calibration needs only the card’s standard physical dimensions, not its personal details.
Try these checks first
- Reset browser zoom and avoid pinch zoom while measuring.
- Use Card calibration or enter the physical screen diagonal.
- Check the scale against an object with a known dimension.
- Recalibrate after moving the browser to another monitor.
